Schedule Started

Now that our speakers are confirmed I get to start the juggle of deciding who speaks when. This part of the conference is similar to working up a school's schedule which takes into account all of the classes students need to take; however, in some ways it's more like the politics of making up the seating plan at a wedding. In addition to the four + one content streams you have to assume that people will make their own experience by attending sessions in each of the four rooms. You are welcome to drop me an email and tell me your top picks for the day and I will do my best to make the flow of the conference work for everyone. Of course I can't make any promises, but I'll do my best!

Here's the list of this year's topics. Times are not confirmed and titles are subject to change... read the schedule now!

Building a song

Today I received Larry Jensen's workshop description. It's amazing. In his presentation he is going to "build a song" track by track with his digital recording equipment.

You've heard him play, now experience his work.

Now On Schedule

I've posted the (approximate) schedule for the forum sessions. WOW! Could someone do a pre-conference talk on how to clone yourself so that I can figure out how to attend all four content streams?

Go look at the schedule and then register! There are a limited number of tickets available and I can promise you that you do not want to miss out!

Confirming the Sessions

The matrix is almost full! Thank you to everyone who has submitted their own workshop proposal (and thank you to those who have volunteered someone else's name). I'm still trying to nail down a few more proposals under the Education and Health content streams. If you have a topic that you would like to see presented, please LET ME KNOW and I will do my best to make it happen!

I've had a request for a session on home and small business Internet security. If this is something you know about, and are interested in some cashmoney, a free ticket to the workshops and a free lunch on Tuesday May 1, please LET ME KNOW.

Thanks to everyone for your interest and enthusiasm to date. The proposals are top-notch and I'm really looking forward to figuring out how I'm going to be in four rooms simultaneously during the conference.

Now go visit our Business content stream sponsor TheOwen.com. Their site launched today and it needs your input. (Be sure to listen to the interview between Ryan and Shane on civic engagement. Very interesting, very tangible. Very good.)
